Kinda ridiculous if you ask me but I might as well make the best of it...

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a good weekend with Mommy home. I didn't let her out of my sight...

Isabella napped pretty close to her too...

Saturday evening Mommy began feeling tired and run down. Hopefully it's just from a busy couple of weeks and not that she caught something on her travels but we're on duty to make sure she feels better soon. It's a tough job being nurse cats but somekitties got to do it.

Thankful Thursday

We're super thankful today that Mommy came home yesterday! Isabella not only woke up but was sitting up when Mommy walked in the door! I was so happy to see her I helped her unpack...

She brought me a catnip mouse from the Stockyards in Fort Worth. It made me go crazypants...

Don't worry, I shared with Isabella too...

Another thing we're thankful for is that what happens in Texas, stays in Texas...

Yeah, no comment.

Weekend Wrap Up

While Mommy is away in Texas, we're having a great time with our Daddy. This weekend I snuggled with him...

And my sisfur of course...

Yeah, okay, so I practically laid on her but what can I say, she enjoyed it too. We have just a couple of days of Daddy time before Mommy returns. We'll be sure to make the most of it!

The Kitties in the Window

We're not normally up at o'dark thirty so we had no idea there were two beautiful kitties outside on our deck...

They sure are gorgeous!

The reason we're up in the middle of the night is because Mommy's leaving on a trip until next Wednesday. We'll miss her but we love hanging out with Daddy! Unfortunately we probably won't get to visit blogs until she gets back. We'll miss you too! 

We'll be back as soon as we can!

Weekend Wrap Up

After a rainy week we had a sunny but chilly weekend. That means Mommy's fuzzy Mickey pants and non matching fuzzy socks came out. They may look funny but they are super warm...

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy met JJ, Hospice Therapy dog at her book signing at a local pet store...

They also met JJ's scribe, aka The Bossy One, also aka Tracy who is a nurse at the hospice in a nearby town. JJ goes to work with Tracy and provides comfort for those in hospice as well as their families. They wrote a book called JJ's Journey:A Story of Heroes and Heart and we got a copy signed for us...

I smelled JJ on the book...

Of course I smelled JJ on Mommy too since she petted her. A lot. She just couldn't help herself. She said JJ was such a sweet girl and gives people hugs. JJ also loves kitties since she has a kitty brother named Taz aka cat-dog. Anyway, if Mommy had to cheat on us with a dog, we're glad she picked such a good girl.

Thankful Thursday

Our Grandpa from Kansas has left to go home but while he was here he fixed a wobbly branch on our cat tree...

I snoopervised him but he seemed to know what he was doing...

He had me try it out and I did so cautiously since it used to wobble like a top...

But my caution was unwarranted because it's now super solid...

It's perfect...

Thanks for fixing our wobbly branch, Grandpa! Thanks for the scritches and tummy rubs too!

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a great weekend with our Grandpa from Kansas here. In between giving us scritches and tummy rubs, he fixed up a table for Mommy's scarecrow on the front porch since hanging it proved to be difficult...

Mommy and Daddy also took him to the coast several times to see views...

And whales...

I guess he doesn't have oceans and whales in Kansas but don't tell our friends Maggie and Cammie because they live near the Kansas Ocean. Anyway, having more peeps in the house is fun but exhausting...

He's here for just a short time longer so we're going to enjoy as many scritches and tummy rubs as we can. And naps too of course.

Our Grandpa from Kansas is here this week. That means every evening I get belly rubs...

I love, love, love belly rubs...

Don't worry, he gives Angel scritches in the mornings but the evenings are all mine!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend! I was on bead duty so helped Mommy make a kitty necklace...

She accused me of sleeping on the job but I didn't. I snoopervised her plus watched for birdies...

Multitasking is my specialty.  Looking at the camera, however, is not...

Anyway, the kitty necklace turned out really cute...

She's keeping that one and got a request to make a shorter one. She has to get more kitty beads though because our cat mom friends are asking about them! Probably because I helped with it.
