Tips to Thwart Travel

We're a week away from the last holiday weekend of summer and we realized some of our beans might be planning a getaway.  Well, we've figured out a way to put our paws down in a subtle way to avoid any unnecessary trips away from home.  First thing is to look displeased when the box with wheels comes out...
Secondly, recruit some help if you can...
This comes in very handy if there's two boxes with wheels - one can look distracted, the other can look disinterested...
At least you get your bath out of the way...
If that fails, attack the box with wheels...
Don't be afraid to go crazypants on it either...
I'm gonna bunny kick you into oblivion you box with wheels!
If that doesn't work, cozy up inside and refuse to come out...
That should do it because seriously, where could somebean go that's better than staying home with us kitties?  Yep, that's right, no where!  That's exactly why our Mommy and Daddy aren't going anywhere for the upcoming holiday weekend and we hope these tips prevent your beans from going anywhere either!

Do you have any additional tips to thwart travel?

Hope you have a great day!

My human might be going to a film festival for Labor Day weekend - but it's local so she comes home!

You two are so clever to come up with such a brilliant plan.
Not much to worry about around here because the beans that live here are boring and never go further than the grocery store

Our Little Bit doesn't like it when we leave her either and we rarely do anymore. She's an old girl that needs her peoples around all the time. I see your precious babies feel the same. Purrfect.

Have a purrfect day you two. My best to your wonderful humans. ♥♥♥

I think you pretty much covered the subject. Well done!

We think you girls have covered all the bases. Telling the story in adorable photos at the same time. One time when Dad's suitcase came down the baggage ramp it was totally enclosed in plastic wrap. The canvas was covered with so much cat hair that the airlines had sealed the bag. We thought that was the greatest thing we'd ever seen. Hope your tactic works and your humans stay home with you girls. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

OH these are good! The more mom has had to stick around the less I am inclined to let her wander...

Great way to keep the folks home. My Lucy has another great way, I know I will be punished with a pee and possibly poop on the bed as soon as we return. Makes a great deterrent.

Well, you two are so smart - we think we have learned a lot and are going to put your tips to good work the next time we see those boxes with wheels come out.
